Plants on Fire Minions — Full Unit Database
All Plants on Fire Minions in one database: unit roles, synergies and best decks, starting with the Season of Madness additions Chili Chef and Violet Magus.
Minions are the plant units you summon and merge during Plants on Fire battles — your deck holds exactly nine of them. This database gives every Minion its own page with role, synergies, best decks and counters, expanding as units are verified in-game.
What are Minions in Plants on Fire?
Minions are the summonable units of your nine-plant deck. During a match you spend resources to summon them onto your board, merge identical copies into stronger versions, and use their abilities to hold your lanes and pressure the enemy Captain. Roles span damage, economy, control and support — most strong decks mix at least two roles.
Which Minions are new in Season of Madness?
The official App Store listing confirms two new Minions for the launch season:
- Chili Chef — a Season of Madness Minion. Ability details are being verified in-game.
- Violet Magus — a Season of Madness Minion. Ability details are being verified in-game.
Both are season-headline units, which historically makes them strong meta candidates — check the tier list for their verified placements.
How are Minion pages structured?
As the database grows, each Minion page follows the same layout:
- Role & tier — what it does and where it ranks in the current meta.
- Strengths & weaknesses — why you pick it and where it fails.
- Best synergies — the Minions and Captains it combines with.
- Best decks — lineups that feature it, with replacements if you do not own it.
- Counters — how to play against it.
How do I get more Minions?
Collection systems (summons, season rewards, events) are being verified in-game. The launch-season events — Crazy Riches and Boss Mark, confirmed on the App Store listing — are the first places to watch for unit rewards. Details: Season of Madness.
